Do 13. se stolje\u0107a u staroj Rusiji godina ra\u010dunala od 1. o\u017eujka, a u ruralnoj Bugarskoj u 20. stolje\u0107u od Jurjeva, 23. travnja. U retoromanskoj \u0160vicarskoj jo\u0161 se i u 20. stolje\u0107u 1. o\u017eujka slavio <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Calenda Mars<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> s novogodi\u0161njim obredima poput maskiranih ophoda. No, svi ga katoli\u010dki Slaveni (izuzev Hrvata i malog dijela Slovenaca) zovu i <\/span><strong><i>Velikom no\u0107i<\/i><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>.<\/strong> U nekim je podru\u010djima Velika ili <\/span><strong><i>Velja no\u0107<\/i><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> prenesena na Bijelu nedjelju (prvu nakon Uskrsa), na koju se, npr. &#8220;pi\u0161u pisanice&#8221;, kada se njima djevojke <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sestre <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ili <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">matkaju<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (taj se dan u Podravini zato zove <\/span><strong><i>matkina nedelja<\/i><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">). Vala\u010dobni\u010dke ophodne pjesme karakteriziraju tri blagdana u slijedu \u2013 Uskrs, Jurjevo i svibanjski dan sv. Nikole, te svaki nosi vlastiti atribut: <strong>Uskrs crveno jaje, Jurjevo svilenu travu te uznapredovali usjev dan sv. Prilikom povratka <strong>u selo vra\u0107aju se s oki\u0107enim bo\u017ei\u0107nim drvcem<\/strong>, simbolom probu\u0111enih sila prirode. Sli\u010dan obred doga\u0111a se i za vrijeme Gromnice u bjeloruskom Polesju: ritualno vo\u017eenje mlade djevojke\/djevoj\u010dice u kolima \u0161to vuku mladi\u0107i, a ponekad ju nose. Naime, katoli\u010dko stanovni\u0161tvo navedenih krajeva na Cvjetnicu blagoslivlja grane jele ili drugog crnogori\u010dnog drva u duljini od jednog metra, oki\u0107ene \u0161arenim trakama (ba\u0161 kao u Polesju) &#8211; <strong><em>ovr\u0161ice<\/em><\/strong>. U Travniku i La\u0161vanskoj dolini se ovr\u0161ice nose na grobove predaka. Ona otvara i zatvara vrata nebeskog dvora iz kojeg put vodi u vlagu i vodu te vrela skrivena u \u0161a\u0161u. Sveta vrela ili kladenci nalaze se u dvoru i iza vrata (gornjih, nebeskih ili donjih, onih podzemlja), a ispunjena su zlatom ili srebrom, odnosno izvor su obilja i bogatstva za nadolaze\u0107u godinu, kao i bo\u017eansku svadbu Jurja i Mare. Motiv vrela klju\u010daju\u0107eg zlata ili srebra povezan je sa zlatnim klju\u010dem kojim su u kona\u010dnici otvorena <strong>vrata prolje\u0107a, tople rose, rodnosti i plodnosti<\/strong>, za \u0161to, prema R. Kati\u010di\u0107u, potvrda stoji u baltoslavenskoj i slavenskoj predaji, zajedno sa podudarnostima u germanskoj. Proljetno ukra\u0161avanje i ki\u0107enje vrata, prozora i dr. cvije\u0107em i zelenilom simboli\u010dko-poetske je svrhe, kao i magi\u010dne \u2013 time se svje\u017ea vitalna snaga prenosi na dom i sve u njemu, a za potenciranje vitalnosti osobito se upotrebljavaju biljke poput mace, drijenka, masline ili pak ru\u017emarina, lovora, tise. Navedene su biljke od velike simboli\u010dke, i magijske va\u017enosti, ba\u0161 kao i one za narodnu ljekarnu. <strong>Vitalna snaga biljaka mo\u017ee se prenositi na \u010dovjeka i udarcem ili dodirom.<\/strong> Obi\u010daji koji su svjedok toj misli su npr. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u0161ibarina<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> u Istri i Slavoniji ili u Dalmaciji <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">tu\u0107a barabana<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Obi\u010daj bojenja jaja \u010dest je u vrijeme Spasova (40 dana nakon Uskrsa) u Makedoniji i Srbiji, te na Duhove (50. dan nakon Uskrsa) u cijeloj Makedoniji. U Rusiji je sve do 18. stolje\u0107a bojenje jaja smatrano poganskim obi\u010dajem te je bilo zabranjivano, zajedno s igrama \u0161to uklju\u010duju ta jaja. Po\u010detkom 20. stolje\u0107a izbijali su sporovi oko ispravnosti polaganja uskr\u0161njih jaja u kut s ikonom, kako M. Gavazzi navodi. Iz pretkr\u0161\u0107anske davnine potje\u010de i magija jaja \u0161to ih koko\u0161i snesu od Velikog \u010detvrtka ujutro do Velike subote uve\u010der. Vjerovalo se da su najplodnija u godini. Snesena na Veliki \u010detvrtak i blagoslovljena na Uskrs \u0161tite od bolova u le\u0111ima, bruha te od munje i udara groma. Za lije\u010denje kile treba u pono\u0107 ili na Veliki petak pojesti gu\u0161\u010dje jaje. Svijetlije bojene i ukra\u0161ene pisanice u nekim su tradicijama darivane mla\u0111ima, a tamnije starijima. Crno-bijele pisanice vezane su za du\u0161e predaka. U Ukrajini se crna pisanica polagala u grob djeteta preminulog u uskrsno vrijeme. U nekim su krajevima tradicionalne boje pisanke zelena i, neobi\u010dno, ru\u017ei\u010dasta, nagla\u0161ava Sofika Zielyk, ukrajinska etnografkinja i umjetnica.<br \/>\nU nekim se obi\u010dajima na jaja lijepe razni ukrasi, poput perlica, vune, slame &#8211; \u0161to je obi\u010daj bunjeva\u010dkih Hrvata, ili svilom, \u0161to je \u0110akova\u010dki obi\u010daj.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; color: #000000;\"><strong>Motivi<\/strong> (biljni, \u017eivotinjski, geometrijski) mogu biti <strong>urezivani<\/strong>, <strong>strugani<\/strong> ili <strong>crtani<\/strong> pomo\u0107u rastaljenog voska nano\u0161enog na jaje na razne na\u010dine. Na tradicionalnim pisanicama, primjerice ukrajinskim, \u010desto su prikazivani <strong>solarni simboli<\/strong> poput svastike ili kolovrata, ili simboli poput<strong> drva \u017eivota.<\/strong> Prikazivana su bo\u017eanstva poput <strong>Moko\u0161i<\/strong> ili \u010dak <strong>Velesova<\/strong> <strong>oka<\/strong>, tvrdi S. Zielyk na temelju knjige \u0423\u043a\u0440\u0430\u0457\u043d\u043e, \u041d\u0435\u043d\u0435 \u041c\u043e\u044f Erasta Biniashevskyja i O. Shevchenka, koji iznose istu pretpostavku. Prikaz <strong>pili\u0107a<\/strong> simbolizirao je plodnost, a <strong>konja<\/strong> prosperitet. Simbolizam se s vremenom djelomice zaboravio te je naglasak stavljen na dekoraciju, dok je neko\u0107 sam simbol bio neusporedivo va\u017eniji od umje\u0161nosti dekorativne izvedbe. Pisanka vi\u0161e ne predstavlja sveto obli\u010dje, ve\u0107 ukrasni predmet namijenjen pogledu.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; color: #000000;\">Prema<strong> hutsulskoj legendi<\/strong>, izrada pisanke odr\u017eava svijet na \u017eivotu, i sve dok je toga obi\u010daja, bit \u0107e i svijeta. \u0160to je vi\u0161e izra\u0111enih pisanki, to je lanac oko ubojite zmije \u0161to prijeti izjedanjem svijeta ja\u010de utegnut. Pisanka je u slavenskoj kulturi apotropej: ku\u0107anstvo \u010duva od demona, nesre\u0107e, po\u017eara i udara munja.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; color: #000000;\"><strong>Pisanka<\/strong> je bila klju\u010dan <strong>element ritualnog prizivanja <\/strong>svjetlosnog<strong> bo\u017eanstva i njegove plodonosne mo\u0107i<\/strong> nekada\u0161nje starovjerne Ukrajine, kako prenosi etnografkinja Sofika Zielyk.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; color: #000000;\">Pisanicom, jajetom, \u017eena zauzdaje ne\u0161to Sun\u010deve goleme mo\u0107i. Prema predaji, iz pisanice se jednom izlegao pijetao, glasnik svjetlosnoga Boga, jedinog bi\u0107a na \u010diji zov Bog kao Sunce ujutro izlazi. Neko\u0107 su isklju\u010divo <strong>\u017eene obavljale ovaj sveti ritual<\/strong>, i to no\u0107u, daleko od urokljivog oka, uz tajne molitve samo njima znane, prenosi S. Zielyk. Tajna ritualne izrade pisanke prenosila se s majke na k\u0107er te se nije zapisivala. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; font-size: 1.0625rem;\">Pisanke su se darivale (u hrv. Pune se fino sjeckanim biljem blagoslovljenim na Cvjetnicu. Ova vrsta krijesa u ra\u0161irena je u sjeverozapadnoj Hrvatskoj (izuzev Korduna, Like, Primorja i otoka). Sla\u017ee se od \u010detiri duge motke zabijene u zemlju izme\u0111u kojih je suho granje, li\u0161\u0107e i cjepanice.&nbsp; Glavnu brigu oko sastavljanja i \u010duvanja krijesa vodi <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pastir<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> uz ostalu seosku mlade\u017e kako si me\u0111usobno prijevremeno ne bi podmetnuli vatru, \u0161to se dr\u017ei sramotom. Ugalj uskrsnog krijesa ima <strong>apotropejsku ulogu<\/strong>, <strong>te<\/strong> se <strong>za<\/strong> za\u0161titu <strong>i plodnost<\/strong> baca u polja i vrtove. U nekim krajevima ugarci uskrsnog krijesa odnose se ku\u0107i i stavljaju u pe\u0107 i njima pali vatra, kojom se kasnije kadi ku\u0107a i cijelo imanje, jer prema vjerovanju, dokle kod dopire dim takve vatre, vje\u0161ticama i demonima je ulaz zabranjen. Uskrsni krijes se pojavljuje i u Sloveniji te u alpskim i drugim njema\u010dkim krajevima, dok je nepoznat npr. u Srbiji ili Bugarskoj, no ponovo se pojavljuje se u Srednjoj Bosni, npr. u Fojnici i njenoj okolici. S obzirom na to da se radi o poznatom srednje-europskom obi\u010daju (njem. <\/span><strong><i>Oesterfeuer<\/i><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), povezuje ga se s germanskom bo\u017eicom Ostarom, u \u010dast koje je vjerojatno paljen ovaj krijes. S druge strane, u nekim hrvatskim krajevima, primjerice Me\u0111imurju, Podravini, Slavoniji i Dalmaciji, Uskrs karakteriziraju uskrsna kola, tj. sezona plesanja kola (<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">kolanja<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) \u0161to zapo\u010dinju na uskrsni ponedjeljak.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif; color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Na Veliku subotu odvijalo se <strong>ritualno obnavljanje ku\u0107ne vatre<\/strong> (lat. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ignis paschalis<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), \u0161to je i crkveni obred. Sve\u0107enik blagoslivlja pripremljenu <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">gomilu <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(\u0161to pripremaju seljaci) te ju potpaljuje <\/span><strong><i>ukre\u0161uju\u0107i<\/i><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, ili starim na\u010dinom <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>izvijanja<\/strong> vatre<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> \u2013 takozvane <\/span><strong><i>\u017eive <\/i><\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ili <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>svete<\/strong> <strong>vatre<\/strong><\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Vjerojatno se radi se o arhai\u010dnom obredu spu\u0161tanja \u017eivotvornog bo\u017ejeg ognja s neba na zemlju, \u0161to su prakticirali Iranci, Italo-Heleni te narodi Balkana i Bjelorusije. M. Gavazzi tvrdi da je rije\u010d o obi\u010daju nastalom u srednjoj Europi te se u 8. ili 9. st. pro\u0161irio do Hrvatske i naposljetku postao crkveno-narodna tradicija.
