U okrilju slavenskog bajoslovlja, mladi Jarilo \u2013 Zeleni Juraj jo\u0161 je u Velesovim dvorima, &#8220;sklonjen s v<span class=\"tadv-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\">odom u panj&#8221;, dok proste ljude nemilosrdno \u0161iba Moranin bijes. On tamo prebiva do Jarilova, ili Jurjeva, kada iz vla\u017enog podzemlja, ili <em>Vyreja<\/em>, mjesta vje\u010dna prol<\/span>je\u0107a, na sav svijet pu\u0161ta i osloba\u0111a toplu rosicu i&nbsp; zelenu travicu\/mladicu \u2013 odnosno zelenilo i \u017eivot plodne vegetacije.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">On ve\u0107 za vrijeme <em>Velikdena <\/em>(odnosno posljednjeg mla\u0111aka prije proljetne ravnodnevice, kasnije kr\u0161\u0107anskog Uskrsa ili Vuzema) zapravo kre\u0107e u oplo\u0111ivanje prirode, no jo\u0161 uvijek se ne &#8220;sastaje&#8221; s nama jer sadi njive, \u017eito i p\u010dele te se, kao \u0161to to govori jedna hrvatska jurjevska pjesma, &#8220;valja, da dobije jaja&#8221;<em>.&nbsp;<\/em><\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">Kao \u0161to uvodne narodne izreke nagovje\u0161tavaju o ovome, danas pu\u010dko-kr\u0161\u0107anskome blagdanu, <strong>Gromnica<\/strong> se smje\u0161ta na polovini puta izme\u0111u zimskog suncostaja i proljetne ravnodnevice. Trenutak <strong>susreta zime i prolje\u0107a<\/strong> obilje\u017eava se pribli\u017eno <strong>2. velja\u010de<\/strong>, ubrajaju\u0107i se u klju\u010dne tradicionalne obi\u010daje slavenskih zemalja, ali i \u0161ire u svijetu.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\"><strong>Simbolizira <\/strong>rastu\u0107u snagu Sunca i svjetla, bu\u0111enje prirode te \u010di\u0161\u0107enje od zlih entiteta i uroka uz blagoslov stoke, polja, voda, ku\u0107a, tkala\u010dkih stanova, djece, starijih osoba te za\u0161titu od udara groma i napada divljih izgladnjelih \u017eivotinja, napose vukova. Djevice Marije uz blagoslov svije\u0107a kao simbola Isusa, \u201cSvjetla svijeta\u201d. I danas ova svetkovina ima u cilju zadobivanje bo\u017ejeg blagoslova za sre\u0107u i uspjeh u nadolaze\u0107oj godini. Gromnici su koreliraju\u0107i keltski Imbolc te rimske Luperkalije, kao i luksembur\u0161ki <em>Liichtm\u00ebssdag, <\/em>pa \u010dak i neke svetkovine u Kini.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">Prikazanje Gospodinovo spada u najstarije kr\u0161\u0107anske svetkovine te najraniji zapis se\u017ee u 4. stolje\u0107e, no na Zapad se iz upori\u0161ta u Jeruzalemu intenzivnije \u0161iri u 6. stolje\u0107u nakon haranja Justinijanske kuge. Crkva u vrijeme pape Gelazija I. u 5. stolje\u0107u zabranjuje prisustvovanje rimskim svetkovinama Luperkalijama, koje su po nekim znanstvenicima svojim odjecima prisutne i na hrvatskom povijesnom prostoru, te ih zamjenjuje danom sv. Valentina (14. velja\u010de). Zatim u 6. stolje\u0107u Justinijan I. zapovijeda pomicanje Prikazanja Gospodinovog na 2. velja\u010de, preuzimaju\u0107i tradicionalne svetkovine rastu\u0107eg svjetla i bu\u0111enja prirode.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">U 5. se stolje\u0107u spominje kori\u0161tenje svije\u0107a u procesijama, no slu\u017ebeno prihva\u0107anje svije\u0107e i njeno blagoslivljanje se\u017ee u 10. stolje\u0107e. Time blagdan u nekim podru\u010djima dobiva naziv <em>Svije\u0107nica, <\/em>dok u drugima i dalje zadr\u017eava naziv <em>Gromnica<\/em> uz ostale tradicionalne nazive. Svije\u0107nica je imala dva slu\u017ebena naziva, na Istoku se nazivaju\u0107i <em>Susretom Gospodnjim<\/em>, a na Zapadu <em>Purificatio s. Mariae<\/em> (hrv.<em> Marijino \u010di\u0161\u0107enje<\/em>). Nakon liturgijske reforme 1960. godine blagdan se ponovo naziva <em>Prikazanje Gospodnje<\/em>.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">Naziv svetkovine razlikuje se ovisno o podru\u010dju u kojem se slavi. U Hrvatskoj se naziva <strong>Kalandora <\/strong>ili <strong>Svije\u0107nica <\/strong><em>(<\/em>eng.<em> Candlemas, <\/em>tal.<em> Candelora, <\/em>slov.<em> Sve\u010dnica, <\/em>slv\u010d<em>. Sv\u00e1tek svi\u010dek [<\/em>hrv.<em> Festival svije\u0107a]), <\/em><strong>Gromnica <\/strong><em>(<\/em>ukr.<em> \u0413\u0440\u043e\u043c\u043d\u0438\u0446\u044f, <\/em>\u010de\u0161.<em> Hromnice, <\/em>bjrus.<em> \u0413\u0440\u0430\u043c\u043d\u0456\u0446\u044b, \u0413\u0440\u0430\u043c\u043d\u0456\u0446\u0430, \u0413\u0440\u0430\u043c\u043d\u0456\u0447\u043d\u0456\u043a), <\/em><strong>Svitlomarinje <\/strong>(polj.<em> \u015bwi\u0119to Matki Bo\u017cej Gromnicznej <\/em>[hrv.<em> Sveta Marija Gromnica], <\/em>bug.<em> \u041f\u0440\u0435\u0441\u0432\u044f\u0442\u0430\u044f \u041c\u0430\u0440\u0438\u044f \u0413\u0440\u043e\u043c\u043d\u0438\u0446\u0430 [<\/em>hrv.<em> Presveta Marija Gromnica], \u0417\u0438\u043c\u043d\u0430 \u0411\u043e\u0433\u043e\u0440\u043e\u0434\u0438\u0446\u0430 [<\/em>hrv.<em> Zimska Bogorodica], <\/em>polj<em>. Dan ranije, 1. velja\u010de, slavi se sv. Brigida, zapravo Brigida (iz praindoeuropskog korijena<em>*b\u02b0er\u01f5\u02b0- [<\/em>hrv<em>. rast, uzdizanje]<\/em>), boginja zore, doma\u0107ih \u017eivotinja, mlijeka (obilja i prehranjivanja), prolje\u0107a, iscjeliteljstva. Za\u0161titnica je novoro\u0111en\u010dadi, babica, ognji\u0161ta, poezije, kova\u010da, bunara. Velja\u010da je poznata po nepredvidljivim vremenskim prilikama, a u narodnim je izrekama prisutno nepovjerenje prema njenoj prirodi, \u0161to se mo\u017ee i\u0161\u010ditati u sljede\u0107oj izreci iz Hrvatskog primorja:<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">&nbsp;\u201cKandelora, zima fora (gotova), a za njom gre Sveti Bla\u017e, koji govori da je la\u017e, a za njim gre Sveta Kristina, koja govori da je istina.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">Op\u0107enito, navedena izreka te mnoge druge vezane za Svije\u0107nicu napominju kako je lijepo vrijeme na taj dan nagovje\u0161taj novog udara zime, dok hladno\u0107a, mraz i snijeg najavljuju kraj zime. Spomenuta sveta\u010dka \u201ctrojka\u201d u izreci ubraja <strong>Svije\u0107nicu <\/strong>(2. velja\u010de), <strong>sv. Bla\u017ea ili Vlaha <\/strong>(3. velja\u010de) i <strong>sv. Kristinu <\/strong>(13. velja\u010de). Svije\u0107nica drugi dan velja\u010de opisuje sun\u010danim i toplim, time najavljuju\u0107i kraj zime, no ve\u0107 sljede\u0107i dan vrijeme je u pogor\u0161anju \u2013 na \u0161to nas je upozorio sv. Bla\u017e. Sv. Kristina se s time ne sla\u017ee, napominju\u0107i naglo pobolj\u0161anje vremena ve\u0107 idu\u0107eg dana. U obredu posve\u0107enja, sve\u0107enik pristupa vjerniku s dvije svije\u0107e dok izgovara molitvu, ili u zraku ispred grla rukom iscrtava slovo \u2018\u2018v\u2019\u2019, a u hrvatskim selima u Ma\u0111arskoj sve\u0107enik prislanja svije\u0107e svezane u slovo \u2018\u2018v\u2019\u2019. To je <strong>razdoblje prelaska zime, ljudi i Bogova u <em>Novo leto<\/em><\/strong>.&nbsp; U pokladno vrijeme zbiva se karnevalski <em>mundus inversus<\/em>, pri \u010demu se obr\u0107e dru\u0161tveni status pojedinca, spola, dobi, identiteta kroz maskiranje i u\u017eivljavanje u tipizirane <strong>likove <\/strong>poput <strong>\u010coroje<\/strong>, <strong>Vile <\/strong>i <strong>Turice<\/strong>, <strong>bu\u0161are<\/strong>, <strong>\u010darojice <\/strong>te izvedbeni par <strong>Dida <\/strong>i <strong>Babe<\/strong>. Svi <em>crni <\/em>pomaga\u010di Babe (\u010darojice, bu\u0161ari i ma\u0161kare) glazbom i zabavom glasno tjeraju, izme\u0111u ostalog, zle duhove uz zahtijevanje darova, simboliziraju i pretke koji su do\u0161li iz zagrobnog \u017eivota da slave sa \u017eivima, te se po zavr\u0161etku Poklada vrate natrag u podzemni svijet. Neke od tema Fa\u0161nika, Zauza i Poklada su i hipertrofirana ljudska spolnost, bestijalna i groteskna, kao i nasilje. Su\u0161tinski, radi se o obredu prijelaza pri kojem je nagla\u0161ena tranzicijska, odnosno <strong>liminalna faza<\/strong> karakterizirana odsustvom vremenosti i socijalne strukture kroz kaos. Taj kaos je nu\u017ean kako bi u kona\u010dnici bila postignuta katarza i vra\u0107anje redu. Poklade upravo spomenutim stanjem singularnosti omogu\u0107avaju pro\u017eimanje dvaju svjetova, ljudskog i bo\u017ejeg, zbog \u010dega je komunikacija izme\u0111u \u201cnjih\u201di \u201cnas\u201d potencirana. Predstavnicu prolje\u0107a, Vilu, krasi cvjetni vijenac i cvjetni trokut.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">Folklor dinarskog podru\u010dja karakteriziraju <strong>\u010darojice<\/strong>, mu\u0161karci maskirani u \u017eene ili \u017eivotinje (vukove), \u0161to su elementi vegetacijskih obreda za plodnost s upori\u0161tem u Dionizijevom ili Bakhovom kultu.&nbsp; Obu\u010deni u staru odje\u0107u, zaogrnuti u ov\u010dju ko\u017eu i oki\u0107eni zvonima, \u010darojice su velikom bukom, koju su proizvodili zvonima, \u017eeljeli protjerati demonske sile i probuditi prolje\u0107e i rodnu novu godinu. <strong>Pokladni vukovi<\/strong> odvijaju se u De\u017eevicama. <em>Vukovi<\/em> nisu ni \u010darojice niti ma\u010dkare. Zapravo, po\u017eeljno je da ih tada nema, jer je posljednja pokladna ve\u010der samo za <em>vukove. <\/em>Na \u010delu im je <strong>Vu\u010dica<\/strong>, a na kraju <strong>Vuk<\/strong>. Odjeveni su u ov\u010dju ko\u017eu, nose zvona te su im lica maskirana bojama. Vu\u010dica je nosila \u0161tap te je zapovijedala ostalima i dr\u017eala ih na okupu. Oni prolaze selom glasaju\u0107i se poput vukova uz zvonjavu, te na kraju propadaju uz pucanj.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">U ophodu vu\u010dara i \u010daroji\u010dara figura <strong>Babe slegjene<\/strong> (mu\u0161karac u monospolnom\/maskulinom obredu preuzima odjevni kod \u017eene: ritualni transvestizam) i <strong>Vuka hranitelja<\/strong> (jedan od \u0161estorice \u010daroji\u010dara ga nosi na le\u0111ima, vuku je u ustima jabuka) predstavlja mlado <em>Januarsko sunce<\/em> ili Bo\u017ei\u0107a (Vuk hranitelj) i njegovu majku (Zale\u0111ena baba). U obredu se ritualno tra\u017ee namirnice i za Vuka i za Babu kako bi ih pomirili i za\u0161titili se od njihove ugroze: ubijanja stoke ili ubojite hladno\u0107e. Za vuka se sakupljaju darovi ba\u0161 kao \u0161to se sakupljaju i za pokojne, jer je vuk u mudrosti predaka \u010dovjekov dvojnik ili <em>alter ego. <\/em>Naime, obi\u010daj vu\u010dara se ne odr\u017eava samo u pokladno vrijeme, ve\u0107 i u trenutku ubijanja vuka uz izvo\u0111enje pjesama koje tematiziraju ro\u0111enje <em>mladoga boga, bo\u017eanstva Sunca<\/em>, iz \u010dega je mogu\u0107e zaklju\u010diti da su koleda i \u010darojice isti obred.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">Baba se, osim s vukom, pojavljuje i kao <strong><em>Bo\u017eja baba<\/em><\/strong><strong> s<\/strong> <strong>jari\u0107ima <\/strong>na odvoju zime i ljeta. Mitem Babe i njezinim <em>ukovima<\/em> (pozajmenicima, kozli\u0107ima, jarcima petroro\u0161\u010di\u0107ima) govori o okamenjivanju prirode za vrijeme zimskih mjeseci, odnosno stavljanju Sunca u <em>klade<\/em>. Baba slobodno hara zimom uz jari\u0107e, dok se ne odva\u017ei istome u vrijeme prolje\u0107a. Ona izaziva <em>Mart<\/em>, nakon \u0161to je izazvala snijeg&nbsp; i sjevernjak, na \u0161to joj <em>unajmljen Februarij <\/em>uzvra\u0107a jo\u0161 ve\u0107om mjerom hladno\u0107e, smrzavaju\u0107i i nju i jari\u0107e. Postoje i legende o stijenama s kojih u prolje\u0107e kaplje voda po imenu <em>smrznuti baba i jarci, <\/em>a na nekim se prostorima zaka\u0161njela proljetna susnje\u017eica naziva <em>babinim jarcima<\/em>.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">Pokladni ophodi uklju\u010duju i <em>mundus inversus <\/em>oplodnje prilikom koje <strong>Did <\/strong>povaljuje <strong>Babu <\/strong>na zemlju (\u010desto i na drva ili vinovu lozu) te joj di\u017ee noge. Dvanaest nagih <em>luperca <\/em>(kao i \u0161est nagih vu\u010dara, koji selo obaraju od kuge) prolaze selom. <em>Luperci<\/em> se nazivaju i <em>creppi <\/em>(<em>capri<\/em>) \u2013 jarci, a nosili su kostime od jare\u0107e ko\u017ee ritualno \u017ertvovanih jaraca. Jare\u0107im su <em>oputom<\/em> udarali djevojke, koje su od \u017eivototvornih udaraca o\u010dekivale <em>plod utrobni<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">Nadalje, u samoj pokladnoj predstavi Dida i Babe, primjerice u Dugobabama, <strong>Did <\/strong>nosi staru, sme\u0111u, poderanu narodnu no\u0161nju, kaput od ovce, \u0161e\u0161ir, zvona i sablju. Barjaktar nosi visoko jablanovo stablo oki\u0107eno crvenim jabukama, orasima, naran\u010dama. Oponiraju im <strong>ma\u010dkare<\/strong>, ljudi raznih zanimanja, \u201ccigani\u201d i <strong>Baba<\/strong> koja pepelom posipa sve na koje nailazi, te tako \u010disti put povorci. Ujutro prvi kre\u0107u Turci te truba\u010d koji rogom najavljuje ma\u010dkare koje dolaze do svake ku\u0107e, no ulazi samo Baba s metlom u torbi kojom razme\u0107e pepeo iz pe\u0107i uku\u0107ana (ako ga ima). U Planjanima kod Une\u0161i\u0107a, upravo <strong>Nevjesta <\/strong>nosi metlu te mete dvori\u0161te i ku\u0107u mje\u0161tana. Ako netko ne bi darovao mladence onda im ku\u0107u <em>zalu\u017euje <\/em>ili posipa napepeljena Baba \u0161to nosi preslicu i vreteno.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\"><strong>Nevjesta <\/strong>se upoznaje sa zaovama, stri\u010devima, strinama, zetovima. <strong>Pokladnja baba <\/strong>se, kako opisuje Luka Ili\u0107 Oriov\u010danin, odlikovala od svih ma\u0161kara. Ona je lutka napravljena od \u017eenske rubine punjene slamom&nbsp; da sli\u010di na<em> \u010dovje\u010dansku sliku. <\/em>Umjesto glave stavila bi se tikva, na kojoj bi o\u010di i zube izdubili, a u sredini je bio drveni kolac. Vozila se u kolima koje je vukao najslabiji konj u selu. Babu su pratili dvorjanici: jedan je jahao na konju i puhao u rog, drugi ga je vodio, a dva ili tri tjerali su ga kand\u017eijama, udaraju\u0107i u babu, a ne u konja. Tako su hodali kroz sela. Ujutro na \u010cistu srijedu babu bi odvezli izvan sela i uz oplakivanje i jadikovanje ju zakopali. No, ovaj obi\u010daj ve\u0107 zalazi u vrijeme <em>Pusta<\/em> (sedam ili osam tjedana prije Uskrsa) na kraju Poklada. U duvanjskom kraju poznat je bio ophod <strong>Bilih vila<\/strong>. Djevojke ili mla\u0111e \u017eene obla\u010dile bi sve\u010dane haljine, licem prekrivenim koprenom. Vo\u0111a im je bio mu\u0161karac u sve\u010danoj narodnoj no\u0161nji. Uz pjesmu su zalazile u ku\u0107e mje\u0161tana i zadirkivale momke. Na Kor\u010duli su se organizirale <em>bale<\/em> i <em>trganje naran\u010da<\/em>. Nakon dobivenih darova svatovi bi se pjesmom zahvaljivali. Na kraju dana odlazili su na po\u010dinak i sljede\u0107a dva dana istovjetno nastavljali ophode. Nastojalo se sve ku\u0107e obi\u0107i do zalaska sunca, jer se vjerovalo da u pokladnim no\u0107ima hodaju vje\u0161tice. Tada je svaki doma\u0107in blagoslovljenom vodom \u0161kropio ku\u0107u, \u0161talu, dvori\u0161te, polja. Trifun. Njegovo je sve\u010dano obilje\u017eavanje 163 godine starije od svetkovanja sv. Vlaha (Bla\u017ea), a za\u0161titnik je vrtlara, sokolara, vinogradara, loze, bilja, bra\u010dne ljubavi. Prema balkanskim legendama on je brat djevice Marije. Za Tripundan se obrezuje loza, odr\u017eava blagoslov polja i vinograda. Smatra se pre\u017eitkom Dionizijevog kulta, \u0161to potvr\u0111uju i obi\u010daji u vrijeme svetkovanja sv. Trifuna. Izlije\u010dio je k\u0107er rimskog kralja Gordijana III. od zlih duhova, te je i kasnije uspje\u0161no lije\u010dio i ljude i \u017eivotinje. Mu\u010den je tri dana te mu je na koncu an\u0111eo donio krunu od dragog kamenja oki\u0107enu cvije\u0107em.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">Proslava sv. Tripuna u Kotoru odvija se 3. velja\u010de kako bi se izbjeglo preklapanje s blagdanom Svije\u0107nice 2. velja\u010de. Tog se dana nakon svete mise ve\u0107 stolje\u0107ima ple\u0161e kolo Svetom Tripunu kao dijela proslave svetkovine. Sveti Tripun se u Kotoru slavi i 13. sije\u010dnja \u2013 Prijenos svetih mo\u0107i (Karike) i 10. studenog \u2013 Mali Tripundan.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">Prema predaji, Tripun sokolaru Ivanu Groznom poma\u017ee prona\u0107i careva omiljenog sokola. Ikonografski se prikazuje kao mladi\u0107 na konju sa sokolom na desnoj ruci (ili kopljem) te cvjetnom krunom na glavi, \u0161to dobro odgovara ikonografskom prikazu Jarila, mladi\u0107a na konju, okrunjenog cvjetnim vijencem (simbol prosperiraju\u0107e vegetacije), te sokolom s kojim ide u lov. Tako\u0111er, Jarilo je bog vegetacije i plodnosti te ga \u0161tuju i poljodjelci.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\"><em>Trifontsi<\/em> su tradicionalni bugarski blagdani od 1. do 3. velja\u010de. Bira se Kralj vinograda te se kruni vijencem vinove loze. Prema predaji, Trifun zarezuje prvi trs (zato ga se naziva i <em>Trifon Zarezan<\/em>). Povorka obilazi ku\u0107e uz \u010da\u0161\u0107enje hranom i vinom. Doma\u0107in ku\u0107e pije vino koje mu nudi Kralj, a ostatak izlije Kralju u lice u ime blagostanja. Kori\u0161tenje \u0161kara je bilo zabranjeno jer \u201cgrizu\u201d poput vu\u010djih \u010deljusti, stoga su se zatvorene vezale uz bajalicu: \u201c\u0160to ve\u017ee\u0161? Ve\u017eem vuku usta\u201d. Na vu\u010dje zube podsje\u0107ale su i igle, stoga se odje\u0107a nije \u0161ivala kako ne bi privukla vuka, osim \u0161to bi se bajalo uz za\u0161ivanje ruba haljine: \u201c\u0160to \u0161ije\u0161? Vukovima \u0161ijem u\u0161i da ne \u010duju ovce, koze i telad\u201d. O tome govori specifi\u010dnost poljske Majke Bo\u017eje Gromnice (<em>polj. Matka Boska Gromniczna<\/em>) koja no\u0107i najve\u0107e \u010dovjekove ranjivosti osvjetljuje svije\u0107om groma,&nbsp; <em>Gromnicom<\/em>, prema vrlo poznatim legendama izri\u010dito tjeraju\u0107i gladne vukove od naroda i stoke. U Poljskoj postoji i izreka o lo\u0161oj sre\u0107i izazvanoj predenjem na Gromnicu, navode\u0107i da se u tu pre\u0111u lako zaplete vuk, \u0161to implicira \u0161tetu koju bi on mogao izazvati svojim kontinuiranim posjetima nesretnom doma\u0107instvu.&nbsp; U \u010ce\u0161koj je zabranjeno \u0161ivanje jer \u0107e igla \u201cprivu\u0107i\u201d grom.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">Poveznica Majke Bo\u017eje Gromnice s vatrenim, svjetlosnim (odnosno gromovnim) elementom dovodi ju u korelaciju s <strong>Ognjenom (Bla\u017eenom) Marijom<\/strong>. Naime, ona figurira kao Ilijina (Gromovnikova) sestra. U pjesmi <em>Sveci blago dijele<\/em> Ognjena Marija pali i ga\u0111a munjom i strijelom, a u pjesmi <em>Sun\u010deva sestra i pa\u0161a tiranin<\/em> baca tri zlatne jabuke (munje) te je oslovljena kao Sun\u010deva sestra. Ognjena Marija, s druge strane, utjelovljuje i Moko\u0161in sun\u010dan\/gromovit karakter.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">Ognjena Marija figurira i kao <strong>Janja<\/strong> (primjerice u pjesmi <em>Car nebesni, kad \u017eenja\u0161e Sunce<\/em>) koja <strong>personificira<\/strong> <strong>Zoru<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">I Zora i Majka Bo\u017eja Gromnica povezane su likom Prozerpine\/Perzefone. Naime, obred rimske crkve na dan Svije\u0107nice, kojeg je deklarirao papa Sergije I. uspostavljen je kako bi se potisnuo, izme\u0111u ostalih, i poganski festival u \u010dast Prozerpine popra\u0107en paljenjem baklji. <strong>Prozerpina <\/strong>(mogu\u0107e od lat<em>. prosperere<\/em>, izroniti, puzati) je starorimska boginja \u017eenske plodnosti, rodnosti, plodnosti prirode i poljoprivrede te proljetnog rasta i podzemlja. Atributi su joj \u0161ipak, baklja i snop \u017eita. U rimskom je kultu ona kraljica podzemlja, supruga <em>Dis patera <\/em>(rimski kralj podzemlja). Prozerpina, kao i Zora, ima i no\u0107ni i dnevni aspekt. Zora je isto tako uvijek mlada te je prototip ljudskih nevjesta (Zora) u Vedama koje polaze za mu\u017eeve. Isto \u010dini i <strong>Mara<\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">Srodnost Marije i&nbsp; Zore (Danice)&nbsp; potvr\u0111uje i ulomak pjesme iz Me\u0111imurja:<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"tadv-color\" style=\"color: #a30000; font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\u201cNe nam je ono denica, denica \/ Neg nam je Mar\u2019ja Devica.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span class=\"tadv-color\" style=\"color: #000000; font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">Sveta svadba povezuje Zoru sa slavenskom Marom ili <strong>Moranom<\/strong>. Tako\u0111er, obje su i k\u0107eri vrhovnih bogova, bilo Peruna ili Dyausa, Tva\u1e63\u1e6dra ili Savitra. Obje dolaze iz o\u010devih <em>dvora<\/em>, bude ostale nevjeste te <em>more <\/em>smrtnike. Tetka, Ljelja stoji uz <strong><em>striku<\/em><\/strong><em>, dundula<\/em>, Gospoda.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">Ostarjeli aspekt Velike Boginje, <strong><em>Babe<\/em><\/strong>, figurira niktomorfno, ktonski, te je vezan za <strong><em>vuka<\/em><\/strong> (ve\u0107 samostalne ktonske i zimske simbolike) \u0161to poja\u0161njava atribuiranost <em>Gospi od vukova, <\/em>ali obja\u0161njava i frekventnost likantropskih antropomorfizama uz Babu kroz cijeli pokladni period. Tomu svakako poma\u017eu realni zimski uvjeti pri kojima je vuk jedna od najve\u0107ih prijetnji \u010dovjeku i njegovoj stoci.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\u017dar \u0161to ga Baba Gvozdenzuba nosi u loncu podsje\u0107a na <strong><em>Oganj \u017eivi <\/em><\/strong>\u0161to ga, u jednoj verziji, Ognjena Marija dobiva kao svadbeni dar zvijezde Danice (Zore) na mjese\u010devoj svadbi. <em>\u017divi oganj<\/em> javlja se u tekstovima folklorne knji\u017eevnosti, a u Karad\u017ei\u0107evu Srpskom rije\u010dniku stoji kao zasebna natuknica &#8211; taj izraz ozna\u010dava <em>oganj koji se vadi taru\u0107i dvoje lipovo drvljadi jedno o drugo dokle se ne upale. <\/em>Atributivni izraz \u201cizviti oganj\u201d, ponovo samostalna natuknica u rje\u010dniku, ozna\u010dava <em>oganj koji se izvije iz lipova drveta<\/em>. Ovaj \u010din predstavlja silazak Ognja s nebesa na zemlju, a uz vatru silazi i \u017eivotvorni \u017ertveni napitak, <em>soma<\/em> ili <em>haoma<\/em>, ili medovina. I oganj i napitak neizostavni su rekviziti \u017ertvenog obreda. Nodilo navodi kako je upravo <em>izvijeni <\/em>oganj dar za Ognjenu Mariju. Njema\u010dki filolog i mitolog A. Kuhn dokazao je va\u0111enje \u017eivog ognja sakralnim na\u010dinom trenjem drveta o drvo u vedskih Inda vrtnjom \u0161tapa u kolu, a isto su \u010dinili i Iranci, Italo-Heleni te narodi Balkana, a prema izvje\u0161taju <em>\u0421\u043e\u044e\u0437\u043d\u0438\u043e\u0435 \u0412\u0435\u0447\u0435 <\/em>(web stranica novina Parlamentarne skup\u0161tine Saveza Bjelorusije i Rusije), ovaj se ritual odvija i u bjeloruskom Polesju (<em>\u041f\u043e\u043b\u0435\u0441\u044c\u0435<\/em>) ba\u0161 na svetkovinu Gromnice, <strong><em>praznik \u017eivoga ognja<\/em><\/strong> (<em>\u043f\u0440\u0430\u0437\u0434\u043d\u0438\u043a \u0436\u0438\u0432\u043e\u0433\u043e \u043e\u0433\u043d\u044f<\/em>).&nbsp; Za paljenje i izgradnju zajedni\u010dkog krijesa (koji \u0161titi i od demona) odabiru <em>Gromnichnika <\/em>(bjrus.<em> \u0413\u0440\u043e\u043c\u043d\u0438\u0447\u043d\u0438\u043a\u0430<\/em>), po\u0161tovanog mu\u0161karca iz sela koji ostalima pali gromni\u010dke svije\u0107e vatrom toga krijesa, oko kojeg se ple\u0161e kolo.&nbsp; U selu Gribany, Mogilevskoj guberniji <em>(\u0413\u0440\u0438\u0431\u0430\u043d\u044b \u041c\u043e\u0433\u0438\u043b\u0435\u0432\u0441\u043a\u043e\u0433\u043e \u0440\u0430\u0439\u043e\u043d\u0430<\/em>), samo mu\u0161karci pale sveti krijes, vatru raspiruju\u0107i iskrom kremena \u0161to pada u lan na pripremljenom krijesu. Poznat je i pojam <strong>\u017ertvenog ognja <\/strong>(npr. u Jaroslavlju na sjeveru Rusije u \u010dast Velesu \u2013 nije se smio ugasiti) kao neizostavnog dijela \u017ertvenog obreda. Agni u Vedama biva najmla\u0111i od bogova, a ujedno i navijeke prastar. Opisuje se kao uvijek ponovo ra\u0111aju\u0107 i obnavljaju\u0107, koji <em>raste nov tijekom godine, do\u010dim nanovo drugim ustima i jezikom drvlje pro\u017edire<\/em>. Agnijevo tre\u0107e, zemaljsko, o\u010ditovanje biva prema Nodilu <em>Kres <\/em>(<strong>Krijes<\/strong>, tj. sveti oganj \u0161to se pali uo\u010di Jurjeva, Ivanja, Petrova, Vidova, sv. Ilije).&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">On prenosi i vjerovanje iz Srbije po kojem <em>\u017eivi <\/em>oganj s badnjaka (drvene klade \u0161to se pali na Badnjak) pridaje za\u010de\u0107e, po\u010detak \u017eivota. Ruski spomenici spominju Ognja i Ognjeve pod nazivom <em>Svaro\u017ei\u0107, <\/em>a Nodilo ga poistovje\u0107uje s na\u0161im <em>Bo\u017ei\u0107em<\/em>, <em>koji se u\u017edio na Ognju mlade godine<\/em>. Zapaljen badnjak bi, naime, trebao biti <strong>podr\u0161ka<\/strong> <strong>Suncu<\/strong> koje mora ponovo zasjati, te postati <em>pomla\u0111en<\/em> demon vegetacije koji je prije spaljivanja bio hrom i neplodan (prema W. Mannhardtu). Okresano se stablo po imenu <em>Vanaspatis<\/em> (<em>Gospodar \u0161ume<\/em>) vezano remenjem i mazano maslom palilo i prinosilo i bogu Agniju.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">Paljenjem \u017ertvene vatre <strong>obnavlja se Sun\u010deva snaga <\/strong>pala tijekom zime, <strong>po\u010detak Zore <\/strong>(jutarnje svjetlosti) i izlazak Sunca. Zora u vi\u0161e mitologija i narodnih predaja biva zimi progutana, oteta i zato\u010dena te zatim u kona\u010dnici oslobo\u0111ena te se <em>ranjena<\/em> <em>vida ognjem<\/em>. On odagnjava zle sile i \u010dini ljude bezgre\u0161nima. \u010cuva zakone te upravlja i vjetrovima i vodama, koje bujaju na njegovu zapovijed. \u010cak i bogovi poput Indre, Varune, Mitre pokoreni su njegovoj volji. Gospodar je koji daruje blagoslove \u0161to pro\u017eimaju nebo, zrak i zemlju. On je taj koji mjeri nebo i sjaji gdje sunce izlazi. U Rig Vedi on se zove <em>Prajapati<\/em>, bog Neba.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-text-color\" style=\"color: #a30000; text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\u201cDo\u0161lo je ovo svjetlo, najljep\u0161e od svjetala. Ponekad ona pobje\u0111uje u igri skriva\u010da s medvjedom. Bajka o <em>Snegurochki<\/em>, ili Snjeguljici ima stotine verzija, no baza pri\u010de im je lik mlade, lijepe djevojke koju dotu\u0107i poku\u0161ava stara majka ili pomajka, koja u tome ne uspijeva.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">U bjeloruskom Polesju na svetkovinu Gromnice odvija se i <strong>ritualno vo\u017eenje mlade djevojke<\/strong>\/djevoj\u010dice u kolima \u0161to vuku mladi\u0107i, a ponekad ju nose. Djevojci se uru\u010duje <strong>sveti Bo\u017ei\u0107ni bor oki\u0107en <\/strong>raznobojnim \u201c<strong>cvije\u0107em<\/strong>\u201d od papira i dostupnih \u0161arenih materijala uz pjevanje ritualne pjesme i no\u0161enje ikone Djevice Marije. Vo\u017eenje i prikaz Djevice Marije podsje\u0107a na pu\u010dki hrvatski obi\u010daj <strong><em>napelavanja<\/em><\/strong> na Svije\u0107nicu. \u010cestitari obilaze ku\u0107e sa slikom Majke Bo\u017eje ili izdubljenu tikvu s upaljenom svije\u0107om uz pjevanje te doma\u0107ina daruju jajima i novcem. Snje\u017ena gruda ili <em>viburnum<\/em> simbolizira nevinost, i ponekad je u pjesmama <em>na brdu<\/em>. Malina ozna\u010dava nov \u017eivot, obnovu prirode i simbol&nbsp; je mladosti, svje\u017eine i ljepote, a u pjesmama se nalazi <em>podno brijega<\/em>. I malina, <em>viburnum<\/em> i bazga \u010desto su atributi same Molodke. Bazga ili zova iznimno je ljekovita biljka. \u0160tovala se i rabila od prapovijesti te je pokr\u0161tavanjem od svetog drva postala vje\u0161ti\u010dje. Kori\u0161tena je, kao biljka velike unutarnje energije, u iscjeljuju\u0107im simpateteti\u010dkim magijskim praksama. Njome bi se, primjerice, vra\u010dalo preko kravljih kri\u017ea kako bi imala mlijeka, ili bi ju se hranilo bazgovinom s mekinjama ako ga je izgubila.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">Nadalje, u radnji se u dubokoj, brzoj rijeci kupa dabar crn kao vrana, on pliva i uprlja se.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">Izlazi na brda\u0161ce i ogledava se, nakon \u010dega ga love lovci i\/ili Molodkin udvara\u010d da od njega naprave krzneni kaput za Molodku. U nekim verzijama on uspijeva pobje\u0107i, no ponekad je ulovljen i pretvoren u Molodkinu bundu, uz dodatak kuni\u010dinog krzna, zbog \u010dega je ona zadovoljna.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">Molodkin udvara\u010d je \u010desto gizdav mladi\u0107 uspore\u0111en s paunom koji obilazi sajmove i mjesta zabave, a vrlo sli\u010dan opis i atribute ima i Molodka. Molodku naziva djevojkom <em>svijetle glave<\/em> koja <em>sije poput pobjedni\u010dke, <\/em>ili se u pjesmi zaziva \u201c<em>Oj, Leli!\u201d<\/em>, ili kao <em>Sun\u010dev sjaj \u0161to pun, crven sjaji preko \u0161ume<\/em>. U vrijeme Gromnice odvijali su se manji rituali dozivanja budu\u0107ih mu\u017eeva \u0161to su ih izvodile mlade, neudane djevojke. Blagoslov se obavljao crtanjem kri\u017ea i na krzno doma\u0107ih \u017eivotinja plamenom svije\u0107e.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">U Rusiji se odvija ritualna \u201c<strong>prodaja<\/strong>\u201d <strong>djeteta staroj \u017eeni<\/strong>. Dijete se kroz prozor \u201cprodaje\u201d staroj \u017eeni, te ga ona potom vra\u0107a roditeljima uz imperativno \u017eeljenje \u017eivota djeteta za sre\u0107u stare \u017eene. Novcem od \u201cprodaje\u201d se djetetu kupuje gromni\u010dka svije\u0107a koja gori plamenom \u017eivota tog djeteta &#8211; na taj je na\u010din dijete vezano za \u017eivot.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">U Hrvatskoj se voskom gromni\u010dke svije\u0107e spravljao \u201c<strong>lijek<\/strong>\u201d <strong>protiv uroka<\/strong>. Na gromni\u010dko poslijepodne se od crvenog ili crnog konca pravila ogrlica ili narukvica koja se vru\u0107im okapinama svije\u0107e spajala oko ruke i vrata djeci, starijima i umiru\u0107ima.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\u010cest je obi\u010daj <strong>blagoslivljanje ku\u0107e <\/strong>i staje plamenom gromni\u010dke svije\u0107e. Po povratku iz crkve s upaljenom gromnicom, <em>blagoslovljenom vatrom<\/em>, prvo se blagoslivljaju i \u201cosiguravaju\u201d vrata i prozori ku\u0107e znakom kri\u017ea koji se gromnicom crta. Zatim se kapljica voska gromnice ostavlja na pragu svake preostale gra\u0111evine vlasnika gromnice, za\u0161ti\u0107uju\u0107i ih tako od zlih duhova i nesre\u0107e. U nekim se slu\u010dajevima plamenom ucrtava kri\u017e na unutarnjim drvenim konstrukcijama ku\u0107e. Ona nosi magi\u010dnu mo\u0107. Pridaje se novoro\u0111enom djetetu te ga prati \u010ditav \u017eivot, sve do posljednjeg daha &#8211;<strong> u njoj prebiva plamen \u017eivota<\/strong> te <strong>osobe<\/strong>. Ona je izrazito <strong>mo\u0107na za\u0161tita <\/strong>od svih \u017eivotnih neda\u0107a: bolesti, nesre\u0107e, straha, tuge, nespokoja, zlih duhova, uroka, neima\u0161tine, neplodnosti, te\u0161kog poroda, samo\u0107e, lo\u0161eg braka, prirodnih katastrofa (napose groma), lo\u0161e \u017eetve, divljih \u017eivotinja, no\u0107i, zime, pa i same strave odlaska du\u0161e nastupanjem smrti. Gromni\u010dka je svije\u0107a toliko sna\u017ean <strong>apotropej <\/strong>da su se i njezine kapljice \u010duvale kao amuleti. Vi\u0161kovi ili ostatci svije\u0107e se nikada nisu bacali, ve\u0107 su se dapa\u010de talili u nove gromnice, bilo vlasnika samog, ili pak glavne svije\u0107e cijele zajednice.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\"><strong>Izrada <\/strong>gromnice uvelike <strong>varira <\/strong>ovisno o podru\u010dju \u017eivota zajednice koja ju izra\u0111uje. Op\u0107enito je uvijek izra\u0111ena od p\u010delinjeg voska, osim u modernijim varijantama, kada se izra\u0111uje od parafinskog voska ili se jednostavno kupuje. <strong>Tehnike izrade <\/strong>variraju od valjanja, pletenja do uvijanja, namatanja, lijevanja, umakanja. <strong>Veli\u010dina <\/strong>im isto tako varira, od tanjih, malih svje\u0107ica do velikih svije\u0107a oko 70 cm. Mogu imati jedinstveno, nerazvedeno <strong>tijelo <\/strong>jednostavnog oblika, ili se sastojati od dva ili vi\u0161e uvijena ili ispletena tijela. Neke su&nbsp; jedinstvenog tijela \u0161to se na sredini razvodi u tri ogranka. Forma svije\u0107e mo\u017ee se posti\u0107i i jednostavnim namatanjem plo\u010de voska oko fitilja.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\"><strong>Fitilji <\/strong>su od pamuka, kudelje, biljke svije\u0107njaka\/divizme (lat.<em> Verbascum<\/em>).&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\"><strong>Vosak<\/strong> uglavnom <strong>nije<\/strong> <strong>bojan<\/strong>, no ponegdje se svije\u0107a radi ili od obojenog voska, ili naknadno ukra\u0161ava bojenim voskom. Gromnica se ukra\u0161ava na razne na\u010dine, primjerice voskom bojenim sokom mrkve ili cikle slika se cvjetni ornament. <strong>Omotana <\/strong>je kudeljom (za prizivanje dobrog uroda), svijetloplavom ili crvenom vrpcom, ili pak \u0161arenim vrpcama, a na nju se ve\u017eu gran\u010dice tuje. Moderne gromni\u010dke svije\u0107e ukra\u0161avaju se slobodnije, s mnogo cvije\u0107a, simbola i ornamenata. Neke tradicionalne gromnice nisu imale dekoraciju.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">Gromni\u010dka se svije\u0107a <strong>\u010duvala<\/strong> na razne na\u010dine. Motala se u tkaninu i spremala na unutarnju drvenu krovnu konstrukciju, na ku\u0107ni oltar, pored, ili skrivena iza ikone. Kako bi ostala za\u0161ti\u0107ena od zlih duhova, sakrivana je i na posebna mjesta u ku\u0107i poznata samo onome tko ju \u010duva. Dr\u017eala se i uspravno zabodena u \u017eitarice nasipane u posudu, ili bi se po potrebi zarila uspravljena u kruh.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">\r\n\r\n<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: book antiqua, palatino, serif;\">U selu Gribany, Mogilevskoj guberniji <em>(\u0413\u0440\u0438\u0431\u0430\u043d\u044b \u041c\u043e\u0433\u0438\u043b\u0435\u0432\u0441\u043a\u043e\u0433\u043e \u0440\u0430\u0439\u043e\u043d\u0430<\/em>), samo mu\u0161karci pale sveti krijes, vatru raspiruju\u0107i iskrom kremena \u0161to pada u lan na pripremljenom krijesu. \u017dene iz sela sakupljaju ostatke pro\u0161logodi\u0161njih gromnica. Okupljaju se u ku\u0107i <em>gazdarice<\/em>, koja ima glavnu gromni\u010dku svije\u0107u. Na tu se svije\u0107u dodaju ostaci gromnica. Nakon toga dolazi \u017eena nadle\u017ena za glavnu, najve\u0107u gromni\u010dku svije\u0107u. te ju pali svetim ognjem, nakon \u010dega i ostale \u017eene iz sela pale svoje manje nove gromnice.
